The Volume Church is a new movement in Columbia, SC. We are still in the initial stages of the process if developing a strong leadership team. The Volume Church wants to be a hybrid of the faith that connects: seminary with the block, the unorthodox, hip hop culture with some of the liturgical aesthetics of the church. Simple stated we want to re:think church in Chill Mode. We rest in God for direction and guidance, while still continuing to transmit the gospel with flavor.

The contention is based on a need to redirect the efforts of the church toward a people group that  society at large has been disinclined to engage. With an intentional, concentrated effort placed upon the transmitting of the word for effective change, The Volume Church , embrace the dynamic. The mission is not to bring this dynamic into a climate of church, to subside the woes of the community but to show off the image of God in everyday lifestyle. This ethnocentric behavior if manifested is counterproductive and ineffective when displayed in mass congregational appeal.

As we establish this missional paradigm, we revisit the legacy of those who walked before us in the faith. Drawing upon their wisdom for guidance and instruction to build covenant community.  Lending our talents-in whatever form to produce an environment of love we connect with our elders of the faith.
